I would venture to say most alumni from both schools harbor hate for the other. Most of my college friends were from small town ND and didn't give one thought to hockey. So no, I don't think most cheer for NDSU in football and Sioux in hockey. There has never been and never will be any scenario in which I would cheer for UND.

North Dakota State University is beefing up security on campus in the lead-up to the resumption of a century-old football rivalry with the University of North Dakota after a hiatus of more than a decade.

Weber State is not a rival
I called DirectTV and they directed me to contact Midcontinent. Midco told me to tune my channel to 611-3 if I live in Moorhead or Nacogdoches, TX. For everyone else it was on the local KVLY channel, unless you are from Sawyer. Then you have to find a local internet provider, contact them, and verify they can stream it through a server in Iceland so that you receive a crystal clear Heitkamp ripping on all things NDSU and Fargo.
Siouxvolley posted the following on the YHB.
"Spoke to a Drake fan after the game and he said Drake will beat South Dakota. Said North Dakota was too strong to beat. Fundamentally but not athletically, Drake might be the best team we face. "
This guy should have his moms basement tested for Radon gas!!!!!!!!!!
I've never gotten the infatuation with IPFs. What is the difference between an IPF and a bubble? It is just a big enclosed space to practice in out of the elements. They achieve the same damn thing, no recruit will give a single damn about whether a school has an IPF or bubble.
We don't need anything. When it gets too nasty to practice outside and all of our indoor facilities are being used, our guys can be taken north where their indoor football facility isn't used after November. Cheaper than building something outrageous.

Some schools the IPF is sport specific. They can also include the football offices, locker rooms, meeting rooms, recruit hosting room-offices, training table, weight training-conditioning and injury treatment facilities. Plus a football field of course. Its a huge recruiting tool.
Yeah it is sad that they so little to work with.
UND fans are now smacking us by saying we went FCOA because they did it first for hockey. That we went DI to get away from them. All this "rivalry" week has done is make me realize how truly pathetic their fanbase is. It is sad really.
Thank God the next game isn't until 2019, I couldn't take this BS every damn year.
