Maybe she is borderline recruit I don't know as she is being recruited by MSU and other D2 schools as well, but coaches miss on people all the time. IE Adam Thielen is an easy example. Some kids get better each and every year and she has been one of those individuals. I guess Jory has asked her to walk on.
the key to everything you mention is the last line. Jory has asked her to walk on. That means he did contact her.

I'm assuming your talking about the gal from Bismarck College that's scoring 40 a game? Good to hear.

appears she signed with Minot. I assume Mary was interested? and she said, no.

Re: Catch all Recruiting thread
She did sign with Minot state. She had a visit planned to Ndsu is what I was told but kind of was sick of being jerked around so she committed.
I think she could play in the summit but we will never know.

If you are talking about Amber not exactly sure just wanted to stay in state. She ended up first team all American for BSC and I believe set the JuCo scoring record for two years.

Re: Catch all Recruiting thread
Still unreal they did not recruit Amber Stevahn more aggressively.
Stevahn named top college women's athlete by NDAPSSA today. Her stats were unreal on a team where the opponents focused on her.

The NDSU women's basketball team has received a commitment from Henning, MN Point Guard. Scored 32 points in Section 6A Championship Game & is the school all-time leading scorer already. Heavily recruited, really good get for Jory Collins...

...... “I think her outside shooting is getting better and she’s relying on that a little more, whereas early on it was totally drive-and-dish,” Hepola said. “To me she’s more versatile. She’s like, ‘Hey, if you’re going to sag off me because I can beat you off the dribble then I’m going to hit the three in your face.’ When she has an off night shooting she’s going to go for a bunch of assists and rebounds and impact the game that way. That’s huge.”......
...... In December Dague broke the Henning career scoring record with 1,304 points. After making her varsity debut in 7th grade, she had hit the ground running as an 8th grader, averaging 19.5 points a game. Despite missing 31 contests over the past two seasons, Ellie’s career numbers through Jan. 2 are awfully nice. In 91 games played, she has scored 1,376 points, shooting 43 percent from the field and 72 percent at the free throw line, with career averages of 4.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.3 steals per game. With North Tartan Ellie proved she could be equally effective against the best players her age in the country. The question is, will coaches remember?......

It'll take time but if Joey can get some wins and have a couple top 3 finishes that will probably start to change.

I have a feeling the eligibility waiver may have helped us on this one. The Hamling sisters will now be able to play a season together at NDSU.
