Re: New indoor practice facility
It probably comes with a lot more class not expecting Wentz to have to Donate anything to the cause and be appreciative if he ever does. Following recent trends if Wentz is the player he appears to be, his next contract will push $200 million over 6 years and that wont be his last if he stays healthy thru that. Based on NFL appreciation in salaries, if Wentz is able to play healthy and play well to age 35 he may see 1/2 Billion over his career, not including endorsement $$.

I wish I had learned to throw a football.

Prediction: he'll be a major donor.
If you had 10 million bucks, would you give away HALF you nest egg when your coming off of a serious knee injury? I wouldn't.
If you had an additional 50 million bucks guaranteed, would you donate 5 million to the project. I would give it some serious thought.
I don't think Carson has any huge endorsement deals. Most are with in state places like Scheels. But I'm sure he does alright with Jersey sales and if he wanted to, he could kill the endorsements and cash in big time.
Dude OBVIOUSLY has some great financial stability but gotta be real. Once that 2nd contract kicks in, the odds of something happening is much better. But we can't expect it, that's kind of douchey.
Now having the AO1 tie in with it... ?

Sometimes, not being able to throw can lead to great things.

I was allowed to spread mine over 10 years. They are looking for a commitment. Probably going to go 5 years based on tax reasons but still donors can spread the wealth over time.
Re: New indoor practice facility
Are you bozos really dreaming how to spend the kids money?

Thats what I was thinking too! Give the kid a break...
Now, if we were talking about Carson helping raise funds, that makes a bit more sense.

No kidding. It's like people have their greedy mitts in his pocket.

That must have been some time ago. In 2014 it was cut to 7 years, now under the new CEO the limit is five years.

Exactly. He is doing so much for NDSU and Bison football just by Carson being Carson. If he wants to help, imagine what he could do on the fundraising side. I don’t know if he’s a golfer but imagine the interest in a round with the man himself. Or a guided hunting trip. A couple afternoons of his time could raise far more than a check with his name on it. Again, that’s if he wants to. He’s already done more than enough for NDSU and fans.
