It was a bit tongue in cheek and McFeely has no affiliation with NDSU. He’s pro NDSU to FBS and he’s not wrong (my opinion here) that NDSU has a better national brand (and probably better quality of football) than NIU and Toledo. There is nothing NDSU can do to stop a writer from writing an opinion piece like that. Not sure what negative impact it could possibly have on NDSU’s chances of getting an invite.Quote:
