The Pac-12 has also had preliminary discussions with Grand Canyon and Saint Mary's -- who played each other in the NCAA men's basketball tournament last year -- but now that Gonzaga is on board,
the focus will go back to football.
Some speculation floating that Texas St will be invited to PAC, and then Tarleton to MW.
I swear every conference wants to plant their flag in Texas, even if its on a 2 inch plot of manure. I get it in some ways, but the texas bidding war is insane at this point. Like the price of TP and masks during covid.

This would be the one thing that would re-ignite my college sports fandom and the entire NDSU fanbase as a whole. A football-only invite to pair with Gonzaga as the full sport member to the PAC12 would be incredible and really strengthen the PAC12 in both football and basketball. It makes logical sense, so therefor it will never happen. The PAC12 will add UCONN as a football only member instead because they are known to be such a football powerhouse. :rolleyes:Quote:
