You hit the nail on the head. The next time your having trouble sleeping, go look at the SDSU, UND, Montana State or even Illinois State campus master plan, (specifically the athletic portion) and then look at ours. Hint: We don't have one or at least a publicly available one. They all have plans for FBS athletic facilities. Are all of them realistic??? Who knows, but they are laying the ground work.

You realize that on field/court performance is like 10th on the list when conferences look to add schools. Its not European soccer league relegation. If that were the case, we would have been FBS by 2015! Suck of hearing that people think the administration isn’t doing anything to promote or position themselves for an FBS invite. With all do respect, how the hell do you know?! Are you in meetings at the SHAC? Do you have Matt Larsen’s phone bugged? They aren’t going to say anything publicly one way or another.

The guy you keep saying they’re leaking stuff to in the media has written columns saying he doesn’t even know if NDSU is interested lol what stuff has been “leaked to the media”? There has not been one private conversation or factoid that anyone from Fargo has had the scoop on, that’s for sure.
I guess it’s equally fascinating that people can see what’s going on with fan support and come away with a rosy opinion on how things are being handled.
Again, no one’s asking for an “over the top campaign” in your words. I mean are UTEP, NM state, UC Davis and sac state all collectively in the wrong, then? Only we’re smart enough to handle things this way? Funny part is none of them have rabid fan bases like NDSU.
