If your conference shares all media rights/revenues being the worst market is OK, but does the conference want you? Conversely if you're the best market you don't want to share those rights/revenues. It's the old 'never be the best or worst house on the block' problem.Quote:

This..At the moment there is just some preliminary discussions. One distinction, Gloria Nevarez informed the MAC that these discussions were coming. That doesn't always happen. I am somewhat intrigued by this possibility. If both schools accepted they would only have 3 road games outside the CST as they would play each other every year. Football only is not particularly expensive or taxing. Olympic sports travel is expensive and logistically tougher.Quote:

If UM has no growth aspirations then really stop spending millions on facilities. What’s the point then really. Why waste the money competing at a level that makes no money.
