Usually once Thamel posts something, its close to happening. Almost like an unofficial announcement intentionally leaked.

Harder to say this time with so many moving parts, and so many twists and battles.

What is the PAC doing? Trying to add UMass? Maybe I shouldn't be giving them any ideas.

PAC was already trying to reach out to Memphis, Tulane, and USF (Florida).
My guess is if AAC teams aren't in negotiations for more money, they could approach SBC teams.

PAC and MWC both look like they are willing to go coast to coast to grab the top teams they can.

Does this mean we're going to the MAC lol

Not sure how much more money the PAC has to throw around, they are cutting the MWC a massive check and they don't really have a media deal to work with.

Thought it was ballpark $200-250m to start with. They aren't eager to spend it all of course, and will also be fighting MW to claw back some of the poaching fee money. But they probably have enough to grab somebody, if they decide they want them bad enough. Maybe a couple more.
