Not saying they wouldn’t do it but idk wtf the plan would be with adding Texas State lol. Nothing close to a travel partner and completely out in the middle of nowhere. If they’re going the Texas route I could see UTSA and Texas State. Still would not understand the benefit of adding large teachers colleges halfway across the country.

Yeah, Texas State is really the most attractive Texas school left on the table but they would be out there on an island unless they also grab North Texas.

Don’t know that I can fully explain the logic with the 2nd tier Texas schools, but every major conference wants a presence there. For Texas St it would be about the money and prestige of joining PAC. PAC could possibly get desperate enough to go after a UTEP type school as well.

Yep, between Air Force and AAC, I’m sure neither really wanted it to happen, just a contingency for AFA. To me this means the MW going to survive.

Check, check and check. Now it’s up to UNLV and an unnamed other MW to decide PAC or stick with the MW. If they stick with the MW, things going to get awfully odd for the PAC…
