This is what happens to all G5 schools that get a whiff of success.
The players will all be gone too.

Louisiana had their coach Billy Napier taken by Florida, and hasn't recovered yet.
6-6 this year. But they will get a bowl game.

With the amount of money he is "responsible" for, he doesn't need to personally invest. At least that is the spin he gives. :)

NDSU NEEDS TO BE FBS. PERIOD. END OF STORY. EVERY DAY THAT PASSES HURTS US.
Matt Larson must be removed. President Cook needs to pick up to phone & get us a Hot Shot AD with Connections that can make this happen.

LOL, that's nothing.

JMU has something like 20 players in the portal now, and it will only get worse.
They are going to be ravaged.

You're dreaming if you think FBS solves that problem.

One site has 10 players entering the portal from Ohio State after last season.

I think the difference at places like OSU, Alabama, etc. (high end P5's) is that the guys who are leaving those schools are doing it for lack of playing time or getting homesick.

I agree.

Also obviously being FBS won’t change our best playing getting poached.

Literally there is only one thing that can stop that and it’s $$$. Like maybe $100m to start the fund. Without that all schools will be subject to the top 5 schools stealing your best players.
