It's interesting that the QB that was offered is a dual threat guy. Dante Perez is a dual threat guy. All of the others have been listed as a pro-style, although I thought Jenson showed some running ability in his videos. Vigen tweeking the O?

Well, look at UNI for example. Their QB Pat Grace is definitely dual threat, and he wins them games. Wasn't he a question mark last year too?
I think in FCS, dual threat is the recipe for success. You don't always have the best athletes around you, but if your leader is one of your best athletes, you are a 'leg' up on the competition IMO. A guy like Walker just doesn't come around too often.
Just my take.

Just to be clear, Eden Prairie is in the Lake Conference. The Lake conference is arguably the toughest conference in the state. It's a huge conference and year in and year out the conference schedule is tough. A quick look at the current roster shows 5 players from the Lake and 1 player from the Classic Lake. I agree, we need more kids from these conferences.
Re: 2010: Recruiting Summary
i was on my cell typing, my bad, yes, both of those conferences.
heck, give me 2-3 eden prairie/wayzata/apple valley kids each and you'll have a great D1 defense in a couple years.

It would seem coaches would be all over Eden Prairie and the Lake conference. Some states, for ex. WI with Marlin, have better coverage of prospects, so we hear about them but not some MN prospects that don't quite have the same coverage. You can likely add another fifteen or so MN prospects to the above list that are being evaluated by coaches-but just aren't listed on Rivals or Scout.
