That conference makes CUSA look like the B12. Central Arkansas as a torch bearer. The highest funded programs in that conference will struggle to meet the new requirements.
und as well. they are a joke.
but JMU & JAX ST both have 5 FBS wins!!!

The teams that JSU has beaten have a Grand total of 1 FBS win between all of them.
That ONE win? A 19-17 win by EMU over UMass. YAY!
That CUSA schedule is softer than soft. They could go undefeated and few would really care.
I expect them to finish around 8-4, just due to how weak the conference is.

Conference is objectively better than the MVFC. As is their schedule YTD.

JSU has 4 FBS wins. 1 of their wins is against ETSU, who is FCS.

Believe what you will, I won't change it; Chaves is setting things in place for whatever may come.

Not really, when you look at results. CUSA got their asses kicked OOC.
Sagarin gives them a VERY slight edge, only because MVFC is larger and has a couple dregs at the bottom.
Drop the bottom 3 dregs, and MVFC is clearly better. Put our top 9 against the CUSA 9, and we win nearly every matchup.
Even with the dregs its close, and I'm not convinced CUSA will finish above MVFC at season end.
15 CONF-USA (A) = 57.25
16 MISSOURI VALLEY (AA)= 55.13

Lol not the “take out the bottom quarter of our conference” argument again…

Like Chaves says, strength in staying together. Going as a group makes for more stable, predictable budgets.
