Bison Game Day: The greatest offensive line never to play
North Dakota State's 2020 guys up front produced eight players that went on to NFL rosters.

Dillon Radunz was the left tackle, Cordell Volson the right tackle and Nash Jensen the left guard. All three reached the NFL. Behind Radunz was Cody Mauch, behind starting right guard Zach Kubas was Jalen Sundell.
Mauch and Sundell are in the NFL. On the roster were true freshmen Mason Miller and Grey Zabel and sophomore Jake Kubas, all on NFL rosters.
Radunz. Volson. Jensen. Mauch. Sundell. Jake Kubas. Miller. Zabel. Eight NFL offensive linemen from one team.
“That’s a lot of what could have been,” Volson said this week. “And not just the O-line either, that whole team in general was really good. Offensively that had the potential to be the best in NDSU history. That o-line would have been a lot of fun and we talk about that quite a bit.”

Game Day notebook: Bison DT Keenan Wilson taking effort to another level
North Dakota State was in need to replace departed standouts in the defensive line and Wilson has delivered.
https://www.inforum.com/sports/bison...-another-level
Head coach Tim Polasek started a Monday team meeting showing 20 plays of team physical play, something he normally doesn’t do. Wilson was in on four of those plays.
“The knock back and energy that he’s bringing, man, I gravitate toward him on the sideline,” Polasek said. “He’s one of these guys that adds something to the environment. He’s got big energy, big juice. He’s not the biggest guy in the world so you appreciate him finding ways and being fundamentally sound and effort is at the forefront.”
Wilson is 6-foot-1 and 283 pounds. He said he took the off-season conditioning programs more seriously since his redshirt freshman season ended.

Bison Video Blog: Showdown with the Salukis comes to the Fargodome this weekend
https://www.inforum.com/sports/bison...e-this-weekend
DJ Williams is back healthy and tearing things up for the Salukis. Williams combined for 296 total yards and four touchdowns against Indiana State. Saturday will mark Williams' second career start against the Bison, he was the quarterback at Murray State in 2023 when the Racers came to Fargo.
The 6-foot-3, 218-pound Williams finished 15 of 26 for 108 yards and an interception in a 38-6 loss. He's been the biggest difference maker in why SIU is off to a fast start, with wins over D-2 Thomas More, UT Martin, SEMO and Indiana State. The lone loss for the Salukis came to Purdue back in Week Two, falling 34-17 to the Boilermakers.
