Same thoughts on draft declarations. Season isn't over until it's over.
Looks to me like it's over if you don't make the playoff and that the other bowl games are meaningless to college athletes.

You are correct. Thank you for illustrating the problem.
However, I only think the bowl games are 'meaningless' to the ones who quit on their team mates. I believe that the ones who grind it out and play understand the meaning of team work and cherish those extra few weeks.

Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
Saw several people live tweeting the Montana v NDSU playoff game yesterday... must've been replayed.
Some blurbs:
"This #Griz and #NDSU game is getting nutty!"
"This NDSU v Montana Semi-final is a tremendous game!"
"I’ma NDSU fan today ✌" (USC Hippie)
"This @NDSUfootball and @umontana Griz game is insane."
"Best game on is NDSU and Montana"
"This Griz NDSU is must watch"
"NDSU vs Montana one of the greatest college football games of all time, ruined by that last play call and horrible announcers"
"Watching NDSU defense out of position and not tackling for two easy Montana OT touchdowns looking PAINFULLY familiar." (a USC fan)
It seems like people thought the game was live, and/or AI-generated posts are getting really good.

Love the blurbs. Even the last two.....that I also hate for the truth.

Get ready for more of the same!!!
Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
Some of the bowl games are nearly unwatchable.
Texas State and Rice had 18 combined penalties. That doesn't include 2 targeting flags thrown that weren't remotely close to targeting. Complete shitshow for the portion of the 2nd half I watched.
Then, KU and UNLV follow that with 27 combined penalties. Really poor quality football.

To now it's been mostly teams that we could play with, topped off with decimated rosters due to the damned port hole!
Tonight's games look promising. We'll see.

But you watched both games. They were on ESPN. Easy to tune in. They are bowl games during bowl season. If you're a college football fan, this is a great time of year. There was some great football in the TXST/Rice game. Half of those 20 called penalties were officials being flag-happy. Doesn't mean the players didn't come to play.
Meanwhile, NDSU-Montana was on ESPN+.
Liberty--a first year CUSA team--playing in a NY6. I HATE that NDSU is going to stay in FCS. Such a waste.

NDSU MONTANA was on ESPN2
