Even if they survive, they will no longer be a power league.
It really depends how many existing PAC members stay and how many leave.
PAC will backfill with the best of the MWC/AAC teams I suspect.
Will likely end up with a contract somewhere in the ballpark of $10-25m/yr, depending on membership.
It will still be seen as a step above the G5, but the gap will close a little bit.
This all presumes PAC doesn't pull a rabbit out of their hat on the media deal, in which case most members may stay.
Re: A new and better FBS thread
This morning’s PAC meeting concludes without an announcement on TV deal.
Ostensibly the presidents at least got information on where the negotiations are at and schools probably know where they stand on going or staying.
Arizona’s Special BoR meeting for this afternoon will go straight to executive session.

ASU's BOR has scheduled a meeting for later today as well.
Supposedly they saw data (three plans) and adjourned without resolution.
The PAC9 will be the PAC_ (fill in blank) by week's end.

Are they the same BoR? I’m confused by the website.

I've been told they are and are not.

By weeks end, 8 as Arizona appears out the door. However, Washington and Oregon have to be begging B1G at this point......and Utah has to be looking B12. B12 is going to be truly back as a power football league when the dust settles. I bet they regret the G5 teams they took, but it bought them stability and the time they needed.

My impression is they've been begging them since USC/UCLA happened. Imagine if they get 'stuck'
Oregon has deep pockets and could probably weather it better than UW.

I'm hearing rumblings B1G is interested in Oregon.....not heard much on Washington.
