Regardless, it seems so stupid for ESPN not to do more to promote their own property (the broadcast of the FCS championship game). Take 10% of the FBS championship commercials and make them an "ESPN: Home of College Football Championships" and mention FCS, Division 2, and Division 3. Do a little more to drive viewership. It is almost like coverage of all these other things are throw-aways just to get the FBS bowls and championships.

Most of us on here have attended very few, if any, bowl games. The reality is that there are some really great bowl game atmospheres and destinations. I have friends who are big gopher fans. They’ve traveled to many of the recent bowl games in the kill and fleck era. They have really enjoyed themselves. They typically haven’t been playing in the marquee bowls.
