If SDSU is nervous about actually exiting the conference until a deal for the Pac is in place they can stick around and try again next summer.
I do not believe the MW will add anybody new right away. After 26 when the current tv deal expires I think they will add. That add could well be NDSU but lots of schools have approached the
MW. I think you would have votes in the mountain side of the MW. I am not certain there will many in the west side.

Portly is writing articles trying to poison the well for athletic funding and obfuscating the fact that NDSU is far less dependent on public funds to support its athletics than say another university in the state.
