Nope. Hurts played well and the Eagles D-line kicked the shit out of the Chiefs O-line.

Maybe MaHomes needed Allstate more than State Farm. Allstate protects you from mayhem.

That was unbelievable domination on the part of Philly's d-line. Wow.

It was at some point in the 2nd half where GOAT Brady or Kevin Burkhardt said Philly had not blitzed a single time. I just looked it up...it is technically true that Philly did not rush more than 4 people for any of Mahomes 42 dropbacks -- they did a zone blitz 3 times where Baun rushed but they dropped a lineman into coverage in Baun's place.
That was absolute domination by a 4 man rush.

I nominated the D line for MVP. They had the most impact on the game, in my opinion.

Chris Branch, author of The Athletic - The Pulse, agrees with you.

I could not stop thinking about the Eagles’ defensive front.Philadelphia didn’t blitz a single time last night and rang up six sacks. Patrick Mahomes had no chance. Jalen Hurts might’ve won MVP, but it probably should’ve gone to the DL — and defensive coordinator Vic Fangio.

That's who I thought should have won MVP. Hurts played a very solid game, and the scrambles were huge in the second half. But they won the game because of how dominant the DL was for 3 quarters.

He had a decent game but should never have received the MVP. QBs get too much credit and too much blame. This game was completely dominated by the DLine and they should have gotten the MVP. Shoot they basically scored 2 TDs for the offense when the game mattered with one INT for a TD and another INT at like the 14.

My daughters prom date is going on a Carson Wentz hunting trip instead of the prom! No date now! He had open heart surgery after getting hit with a softball in the chest. Dammit Carson.

I would have skipped prom for a great hunting trip for sure.

Skip the prom; she should go hunting with the boyfriend.

As a former big game hunting outfitter/guide, I agree with this statement.

Scottie said prom date, not boyfriend. “Shotgun Scottie” probably has a strict probationary period, blood testing, genetic testing, and mandatory castration to even apply to court his daughter.

Wasn't a bf bro. Good catch.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
Hunting trip > prom 100% of the time. That young man has serious potential.
-
Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
So it's a hunting trip to Texas on a game ranch through the Carson Wentz foundation. Not sure if Carson will be there and if pucknut can put in a good word for dateless prom gals too but I wouldn't want to jeopardize anything that young man is getting he deserves it. Lucky to still be here eh.

Like a quarter of my graduating class skipped prom to go to an Aerosmith concert.

An article from a weird online publication that mentions there are rumors that the Jets are interested in signing Wentz as a bridge QB. This article mentions a replacement for him before he even gets there and the replacement is a guy that hasn't really done anything.
I think Wentz needs to make a good choice with his next signing and that signing as a backup might be better than as a starter for some of these organizations.
My order would be:
1. Steelers
2. Titans
3. Saints
4. Raiders
5. Browns
6. Chiefs (as backup)
7. Rams (if Stafford leaves this moves up the list)
8. Stay home and wait on a good opportunity
15. Jets
31. Giants

Time is running out so I don't know how picky he can be. He's 32 an the older end of the NFL age scale is 35-36
He will make 3.5 million as a backup so unless a team wants to pay him dramatically more to be a bridge starter, does it make sense to be a backup? Depends what Carson wants
He's earned 132 million in his career and has played for 5 teams in 5 years

Pucknut9, any insider information on what is going on with Carson? It seems like he may end up back with the Chiefs as Mahomes backup.

I'll take him in Pittsburgh. One last hurrah lol

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
Good to hear he has some irons in the fire. When you read the NFL media (which hates him for some reason) they don't even mention him as an available QB unless it is dismissive and in passing. I hope wherever he ends up he is with a good organization that actually gives him good coaching and an actual shot.

Re: What sort of thread have you made for us? A Wentz thread, if you can keep it.
Who are the Vikings' veteran quarterback options left in free agency?
With Sam Darnold, Daniel Jones, and Nick Mullens all gone, the Vikings need to add a vet to complement J.J. McCarthy in their quarterback room.

If Wentz decided he wanted to go back I assume they wouldn't have an issue to cutting Minshew and replacing him with Wentz.

Seriously?? Why wouldn’t this already be sorted out? Maybe you meant to use purple.

I doubt it, Minshew is a high end backup.

Are the Titans an option? Sign Wentz. Trade Will Levis and draft Cam Ward.
