Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
Might as well dust off this thread to talk about bowl games.
Defense seems to be optional in the Alamo Bowl. Washington and Baylor have eclipsed 1000 yards and 100 points combined before the end of the 3rd quarter. 53-49 Baylor. But the score will probably change twice more before I finish this post.

Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
I think every game this year has been a shoot out. Very entertaining
Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
End of the Insight Bowl has been a little interesting. Oklahoma has Iowa relatively well in hand, but apparently no one has the ESPN sky cam well in hand. One of the cables broke and the camera came a tumblin' down; nearly hitting a Hawkeye.

That was pretty crazy. Never seen that before.

Interesting stats on #3 ranked Georgia Southern's 58-0 rout of Jacksonville in their season opener yesterday:
"Georgia Southern sophomore quarterback Ezayi Youyoute rushed for a career-high 164 yards and three touchdowns in his first career start, and sophomore running back Dominique Swope ran for 104 yards with three scores to lead the third-ranked Eagles to a 58-0 football victory over Jacksonville Saturday night at Paulson Stadium.
"Georgia Southern (1-0) rolled up 557 yards of offense, all via the ground.
"If there was a chink in the Georgia Southern armor, it was in the passing game. Three GSU signal callers combined to go 0-for-8 in pass attempts with two interceptions. But the Eagles averaged 8.3 rushing yards on 67 attempts for the game and are now 7-0 in the modern era when passing for zero yards."
557 total yards. Impressive.
All on the ground. Say again.
0-8 in passing attempts with two interceptions.
How does a team expect to make it to the FCS playoffs if they CAN'T PASS? At all.

Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
They proved why an undefeated Pioneer team doesn't deserve to get an autobid.
They (JU Dolphins) will probably go 10-1 or 9-2 from here on out.
Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
42-10 at the half. Nebraska has Wisconsin right where they want them.
Re: College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread
LOL...Nebraska getting housed by a mediocre Wisconsin team 63-17 with 6 minutes and change left in the 3rd. Who is going to be the fall guy for this loss?
