That was also on a Friday night and a PLAYOFF semi final. Big difference.

I can pretty much guarantee that if the Bison joined the MAC, the same people saying "wow what an atmosphere, can't wait to party in this environment etc etc!" will be the same ones saying not long after that this sucks, no environment, we are a step above this, these are pud schools in pud towns etc etc etc

Bingo........

Actually bison pride. NDSU would be the envy of the league if we joined fanbase wise and atmosphere. We would elevate their product. They should be begging us to join.

Whats the point in moving to that pud conference? You said we would win it every year. Even if we did there would be no playoff available to us. Yeah that would be a great move. We have to do whats best for NDSU.

We are the envy of the league we are in now. They all still draw small crowds and are still pud schools and teams. Who's to say that things won't change in the MAC?

And as far as we better move up to another conference then, that's why you don't join that conference in the first place and wait and make sure everything is taken care of first then seek out that conference and join it instead of wasting time and money on something that is full of "puds".
