You should watch that play again and think of all the times you’ve seen an FCS qb and even Bison QBs not hit that in stride.

Since they moved sophomore and Kearney, NE native Heinrich Haarberg into their starting QB spot they have went went 4-1 after starting 0-2.

You are absolutely correct. His play at QB has had absolutely nothing to do with the win streak. Great kid. Playing his tail off. Nobody thinks he is the QB today or in the future. Nebraska does not have their starting QB on their current roster for next year. They swung and missed on the GT transfer in Sims. Their defense and soft/pathetic schedule is winning games. Their offense has lost all skill position talent, has no QB play to speak of and now down two starters on the OL. Cole Payton would be a dramatic upgrade as to what they have in the QB room. Not saying he is or will be, but he is better that what they have. To echo was Chapo said....Cole is a cult here on Omaha. Just like Easton was. A ton of people wanted him to be a Husker, so when they see him have success and Nebraska struggle, they resort back to wanting him. Nebraska may win the Big 10 West at this rate. It is that bad and the schedule is awful.
