Butler is pretty good for a Pioneer team. They could beat a bad Murray State in this game.

South Dakota State is up 2 scores, aided by refs. These guys will never get calls like that on the road. They made a call on a key 3rd down that I have never heard of
Griz completely shit the bed in that game, give the fawkers credit for not folding when they were down big.
I have a customer from GF, He said he damn near left at halftime! He's glad they stuck around.
I might be in the minority, but I like UND to win every game they play up until they play the Bison. And, for once, they helped the conference instead of being an embarrassment.
I remember a game with UND being scheduled, but NDSU didn't bother showing up.
Ah, Bisonville's Theater of the Absurd. Always worth the price of admission. :)
I see USD's game at Portland State today is canceled.

YSU about to lose to Duquesne. 28-17 with less than 2:00 left.
Man, I hope you can learn just how wrong you are about this without having to get the whooping cough yourself. Imagine having the worst coughing fit of your life... but you get these coughing fits off-and-on for three to four months. Yeah, grown-ass men will probably survive - but it does kills infants, and when it does so, the infant dies slowly and in agony.
It's also extremely communicable. And, of course, this happened in Oregon because that's where a cluster of dumber than dirt, New Age, crystal-gazing hippie freaks met a cluster of dumber-than-dirt, gullible, anti-government freedumbers and decided that all vaccines are bad and created areas where the mumps, whooping cough, and measles have had a resurgence.
How wrong am I? I simply couldn't recall a single time a game as cancelled because of whooping cough.
I goggled "history of football games cancelled due to whooping cough" and this is the only example I found. *(I only browsed through the first 5 pages of search results)
The point that I failed miserably to make is this should be a "W" for USD by forfeit, and not go down as a cancelled contest.
Take recommended vaccinations for infectious diseases and stop creating preventable problems for the rest of society.
There is a combination tetanus, diphtheria, whooping cough vaccine.
There is a recommendation for a booster every 10 years
"All adults should get either a Td or Tdap shot every 10 years"
https://www.cdc.gov/pertussis/vaccin...receive%20Tdap.
I wonder what % of adults are current? I know of nobody.
Back to the point, why not park the sick players and grind on?
"doctors from PSU ultimately decided to cancel the game"
same article...“It should be noted that no players on the Viking team are seriously ill at this time,” the university said in a Saturday press release.

Seems a lot like a forfeit to me?
Take the vaccines he said, stopping to catch his breath due to the complications of myocarditis.
