College Football FBS/FCS discussion thread

If you think our board goes crazy when our team is losing or drama happens, you need to check out the Florida message board. The #2 DE in the country committed to Florida on signing day, but never sent in his LOI. His dad, who is a life long Gators fan, now doesnt want his son to go to Gainesville anymore and is refusing to sign the LOI. A lot of rumors surrounding this :

Yeah and 2 days before said LSU was out of it, but when announcing was wearing LSU gear, guy sounds like a mess.

I'm a little surprised (but pleased) that he isn't pimping the NDSU/UND "resumption of rivalry" game. Isn't that whole thing supposed to be the cats meow? Must not have got the Forum Media's hyping points on it.

Don't they mean Championship Runner up blueprint? That beat down last year tells me it's not their lack of FBS talent and knowing their system, but their lack of conditioning.

As a straight guy with no style, even I find them tacky.

Getting some PT for them is #48 Jack Cichy, Soph LB.
Jack is the son of Steve Cichy (Fargo Shanley/Notre Dame).
Nephew to Joe & Nick & Mike Cichy, who all played for NDSU.
Joe & Nick are in the Bison Hall of Fame. Not sure on Mike,
but IIRC he was a pretty good center.
Jack's Grampa Sid won a few games as a coach too.....:)
One of Sid's best coaching achievements was making a
functional kicker out of that guy on the '77 Shanley team,
like herding Cats.

So rumors now that Les Miles will be fired after the weekend. As a Gator fan, Im loving this. Amazing how far its come to let go of arguably a top 10 coach. Somebody will luckily snatch him up.

Is he that good that he has interest from Oregon? Vernon had video game stats...55/15 and 35/8(10 games) his last two years with completion percentage north of 65%. I don't know enough about Prukop, maybe he is in the same caliber.
