Re: Game 7: Indiana State Sycamores
One of the things about Memorial Stadium is it's atmosphere is so different than anyplace else they play. The stands do hold about 13k, but they are all on one side in a huge concrete structure with bleachers. It's off campus in a small park. The crowds are relatively light. I imagine it's hard to get up for a game that has the feel of a scrimmage. This group largely has never played there, and the last time they played was a closer than expected game. It wouldn't surprise me if they came out flat.

But are there trees in said park? If there is, maybe they will make a stand and stay in the hunt.
I'll show myself to the door...

The trunk of this post had no reference to arboriculture. Fifteen yards and loss of post. If the post was to be edited to graft in a sapling it may bear fruit that makes up for this penalty.
Re: Game 7: Indiana State Sycamores
WDAY said they turned off the music for practices this week in an attempt to help them focus in a boring (my description) environment where there isn't a crowd to get you pumped up.

Interesting they are flying to Indy instead of the Terre Haute airport.

Maybe they are staying in Indy rather than Terre Haute. The airport in TH is big enough to land a normal jet. I drove by the airport in 2022 after the game and their charter was parked there. My son was a potential flight student there at the time so we were checking it out.

Lots of alleys for late night sprints in Indianapolis.

I believe this was the plan. Stay in Indy and bus to Terra Haute in the AM, about an hour bus trip from what I've heard.
