Group of 5 is a barrel fire. I don't want NDSU in the GO5 until they create a GO5 championship playoff.
Power 5 would be awesome but I don't think any Power 5 conference will be interested unless our sports revenue greatly increases. They care a lot more about $ than record

I think you are correct that moving to GO5 would result in revenue increases that would be typical if not slightly better than than most GO5 programs. I suspect revenues would not get to the level to interest P5 conferences without large population increases in the FM and surrounding areas. The market today is just too small and over saturated with UND, SDSU, USD, Minnesota, Montana and Montana State all taking part of that market.Quote:
