When I was younger I used to help out on my uncle's farm. We had an older Bobcat that we used for chores. My uncle used to remind us not to overload the little workhorse because he couldn't afford to have it break down. Like my uncle Gary, Montana State has done the exact same thing; recognizing the limitations of the Bobcat. Congrats to the Montana State Bobcats, you know the Bison on the schedule is way to much for the little kitties.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas Holiday. This season I spent the holidays with my side of the family. I got to dress my new addition to our clan in Bison Pajamas and hold him until changing time...I change him if no one else is around, but if mom is there...I pull out the grandpa card and pretend I don't recall how to change a diaper. That's quite a feat considering that I am the 3rd of eight children and have changed more diapers than a 18 year old high school dropout on her third child. ...

Wow, what a game!

I expected a close game with the offenses trading punches and wasn't surprised when the Bison got that crucial stop putting GSU deep in their own territory. I thought there was going to be a time in the second half where the NDSU defense would stiffen and pin GSU deep. What I didn't expect was the roughing the punter penalty. In a game like this, field position is everything. We gave up an opportunity for the Bison offense to put the foot to the gas pedal. ...

Wow, this week flew by. I can't imagine what it is like for GSU with such a short week to prepare for NDSU. Hopefully the Bison will have enough left after that sloberknocker on Saturday afternoon to stop GSU and their impressive rushing attack. GSU beat Wofford at home 17-9 this season. We'll see how friendly the Fargo dome is to the Eagles. My guess is that it won't be kind. Anyway, here are a few random thoughts and interesting stats for you on game day.
