Several former NDSU football players are holding a NDSU Football camp in Minot this week. Jared Essler, Andy Delabarre, AJ Cooper and Kyle Steffes were in Minot helping with a football camp for area high school kids. Kind of gets a person excited for football season!

My son played at Minot High and played for the Bison.
Minot is mostly UND fans because Trinity hospital

What's even more odd, I saw a few photos where they had black covers that covered up the red. Why not get green or yellow ones? Heck, why not at least use the black ones again?

Yeah, I think we can debate that topic to death over the next 40 days. When will the band get different colored drums, or drum covers, so that we don't have to look at those fugly red drums? Also, how about some better music? And finally, the band size needs to double over the next five years so NDSU's band can get half as big as SDSU's band. :D

If I were given a choice between playing band at NDSU or SDSU it wouldn't be a tough choice, too bad I quit my tromboning days after my sophomore year in high school. Can't we do what they do in athletics when they go get a coach of good program to come and rebuild or grow, why don't we go get SDSU's band director.
