NDSU is on Gopher's nonconference wish list according to this guy, funny how nothing can be firmed up with this game to create a lil buzz this summer.

In addition to Colorado State and its 18-game Mid-Continent Conference schedule, the Bison have scheduled one game at Minnesota and another at Wisconsin-Green Bay.

“We’ve got to make the dates work out,” Phillips said. “That’s where it gets tricky.”

The Rabbit game is the next day at 1pm, not good because it will be pretty much impossible to do both.

I will be at both the gopher bb game and the rabbit football game. Impossible if it were 20,000 miles from Minneapolis to Brookings, but its not.

It is possible but if you want to tailgate and do all that other stuff having to drive across the state of MN the night before or early in the morning throws a wrench into things. It would probably be impossible to talk my friends into doing it, they are big football fans but basketball not anywhere near as much.

Hopefully the game is on FSN, so I can watch the Bison beat the Gophers in some bar in Brookings. Should be a good start to a good weekend.

Cubbies bar in Brookings for the Hoops game. Tailgating in Brookings is like We Fest. No rules. It was a blast a few years ago....until we lost to them. Brutal.

That is one heck of a weekend for SDSU and NDSU athletics it sounds like.

NDSU vs SDSU in football
Summit League Volleyball championship
SDSU vs Missouri in Women's Hoops
NDSU vs Minnesota in Men's Hoops
SDSU vs Montana in Men's Hoops.
Brookings might be a hopping place that weekend.

I don't know how I am going to make it work, but I will. I am not going to miss either game, ESPECIALLY the basketball game. ;)

On an NDSU professors salary? Fat chance! Now if I had connections with a major beer distributor, they might let me borrow the company jet! That might work! ;)

Chapman? Unfortunately my TeamMakers contribution probabably is not high enough to get me on that plane. ;)
