Last year, the game was before school was out. That might easily explain 500.

Did anyone see ANY promotions or ads for this game at all??? I know I never saw one on TV or heard one on the radio. If you dont want to spend money for the rest of the season, so be it. But at least throw something at the Gopher game. "Take a kid to the game" would have been a prefect promotion for this game. Like mentioned above 500 students easily at last years game. The public has no idea that this game was even going on. It was probably the last chance they will get to see Jake Laber throw in Fargo before he gets drafted in June and signs. Sounds like he could go fairly high, maybe even before the 10th round. Zimmerman was about 2 feet short of the top of the wall for a HR in the 8th that would have been the eventual tying and winning runs. Langlais did the same to right field in around the 6th. Just like so many games this year, oh so close!
