I suspect that Montana will get a hell of a beating ......... and a hell of a fat check($500,000)......

Not sure how the Griz stack up this year, I'm just hoping for a couple of TD's on the board. I really give them some smack, but I totally respect their FB program out there in MT.
Seems like most of the talk on egriz is comparing UNI's game, was it last year?

UNI played Iowa on Sept. 17th last year at Iowa and UNI lost 45-21.

Yeah, saw that, that's a respectable score, IMHO
Hope the Gopher game goes as well.......

Yep 21 pts. against Iowa is respectable. Without Hilliard I don't think the Griz will do as well as UNI did last year. I hope I am wrong, but I doubt that anyone will fill Hilliard's shoes.

End of the 1st

Iowa-7
Montana-0

The Montana defense is really solid and the offense is not doing much but I guess that can be expected.

Iowa defensive line is having its way with the offensive line for the Griz. I would have liked to see Hilliard running in this game to see if he would have helped. I think if the offense doesn't do much in the second quarter for the Griz it will get out of hand because the defense will spend too much time on the field.

Montana is supposed to have good back-ups at RB but there is only one Lex Hilliard. I agree though if the Griz offense can't get something going their lack of depth will start to show in the 2nd half.

Montana's defense is starting to miss tackles since they have been on the field almost all game long. Offense needs a drive to help them. I hope the Bison offense has a good showing and helps the Bison defense against both Ball State and Minnesota.

Interception thrown by the Griz. It's getting ugly in Iowa. This game could become a NDSU versus Concordia St. Paul type blowout.

Well the Iowa defense is about a 100 times better then Minnesota's and 150 times better then Ball St.'s so I don't think NDSU will see the pressure that Montana Qb is under almost every play. I think if NDSU can keep the passing game going strong we will be alright.

INT Iowa and they have the ball at about the Griz 25.

Werent we 3 TDs down at the half in Montana? It aint over yet if the Griz can find some thing to spark them. I cant see it, Im just taking a break from a small remodel project.

Twins lead the Yanks 1-0.

I think Iowa is that good. #16 in the country. That game vs. Ohio State in three weeks at Kinnick will make or break their season.

I listened on XM and the Iowa announcers were pretty impressed with Montana. They said the Griz is much better than Iowa's season opener last year, Ball State. I've got a good feeling about the Bison winning at Ball State.
