They wouldn't come after any of ours, would they? I'd think they'd stick to west coast guys.

It seems to me that the Montana schools don't like to come to the Dakotas. I think we are safe.

Do you think they will hire from within or a former Bobcat? Any of you Bobcat fans remember Terry Bladow and Tim Sturdevent both from MOORHEAD HIGH PLAYED FOR YOU FOLKS IN THE MID-LATE 70S? tIM WOULD BE A COUSIN TO TRAVIS STURDEVENT former Bison football and current GA for football.

Nice job moving to one of the worst 1-A teams in the country, which shares the recruiting base with 1-AA Idaho State and...hmmm...a team in the BCS in Boise State. Good luck with that one. Idaho finished ahead of only nine teams in the final Sagarin rankings: football powerhouses Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Buffalo, Duke, North Texas, LA Tech, Temple, Utah St and FAU.

U Idaho only spent 2.8 million on football last school year. That has to be one of the lowest in FBS.

Montana State spent 3.5 million! Probably one of the highest in FCS.

That's what I'm saying: as a coach you are making at best a lateral move by going to Idaho and there is little to no chance you are going to be able to turn the program around. Maybe the money is better or whatever else it was that prompted him to take the job, but in this case maybe you hang around Montana State for a few years and see if anything else comes along.

He's an Idaho grad and his hometown is stone's throw from Moscow.

In that light the move makes some sense, but that is a tough program to coach for.
