Three things:
1. NDSU's softball team picked up its first DI win against a tough Central Florida and then went on to win the tourney title by beating Boston University! Not a bad start, bringing home hardware when the season is only a couple days old. Freshman Allison Bakke from Anoka picked up both wins on the mound. Senior Heather Hyatt from Morris went 6 for 8 to lead the offense.
2. Congratulations to Northern Colorado for beating NDSU in a dual. I guess it had to happen sometime :)
3. NDSU's Tim Kraemer helped NDSU steal a victory from Wyoming by wining an epic overtime match against last year's DI West Region champion, Dusty Hofschneider (note: if the name is familiar to you, it is probably because he used to attend Northern Colorado where I think he used to play football). *Only bad news, Zach Stevens had to forfeit due to injury - hopefully nothing serious.

FANTASTIC WEEKEND FOR BISON ATHLETICS!
