nice schedule.

i hope we can make a better showing against uni than the last time around (which wasn't bad considering where the program was at)


-too bad Fresno State had to drop wrestling

-we need to get a top squad to some to Fargo in the next few years also

Iowa was actually in Fargo a few years back. If I remember correctly, the Iowa coach liked to take his team out of town at the beginning of the season for a match. I keep thinking the score was something like 26-7. Not too bad.

It was fourteen years ago and they had the STEINER twins from Bismarck. Also coached by the great Dan Gable. The Bison won one match. BSA was full 7500.

Iowa is no longer the program they were.

I'm thinking Oklahoma State or Minnesota.

Regular folks wouldn't know they are that good, but wrestling fans would definitely show up. I doubt they'd fill the place as Gable's Iowa squads have never been matched pr wise.

Gable is back helping Coach Brands at IOWA. ALSO FORMER BISON FOOTBALL PLAYER GARY BARTA IS AD AT IOWA. But in visitng Stillwater,Ok. this summer wrestling is huge down there. And John Smith just reloads>
