It's awful quiet up there about the sue softball team. I see they lost 2 more games yesterday! 1-9 in the conference. Maybe if enough teams leave the NCC they might win a few. :o :o :o :o

Theres been a lot of talk about baseball and the upset by the DII team in other threads. It must have really been a thrill! Traveling to the city to play a DI university and then getting an upset! The thrill of a lifetime for those players, and I bet the fans were excited too. Yep those kids will never forget it.

The thing is this. Playing baseball against non divisional opponents is not a dream come true for NDSU. Neither is playing softball. The only point of interest is the complete inability of the und softball team to show any kind of competitiveness over several years. Its so lopsidded it becomes a matter of curiousity. Thats the only reason its brought up at all.

NDSU won their first round with a 2-1 win over USD and Neb. Omaha had a no hitter against the lowly sue. I don't why rt wasted the money playing the tournament when the sue have a 1 -19 record! ;D ;D ;D

Lindsey Graham picked up her 1,000th career K against UNO today. She is only the fifth pitcher in DII history to reach the milestone. :o :o
