Bison up 6-2 heading into the 7th. Laber has allowed only three hits so far and retired his last 8 straight batters. Offense helped by a few HBPs to put up a 6 run inning in the 2nd.

It would certainly be nice to put that losing streak to bed. Hopefully Laber finishes this one himself so we don't have to worry about that bullpen.

It is nice, but the lack of a balls and strikes tracker is screwing me up. Looks like Laber is stilll going strong.

Tough loss. They still have one tomorrow though for the chance to win their first series in quite a while.

Virtual repeat of yesterday so far. Down 3-0 going into the Bottom of the 7th. Ekermans has the only hit breaking up the no hitter in the 7th.

Same crap different day. Very disappointing loss after a nice comeback. No more excuses or being satisfied with being in ball games, we need to start winning these games.

It is getting tiresome to watch them lose close games like this, but I'll say again that these losses are probably as much the fault of the administration for not giving the coaching staff the fire power they need to go get more and better recruits. Having said that, they need to start winning some of these games.

Also factor in being on the road with local umpires. Word is they got hosed bad in the final inning behind the plate and at first base which lead to the winning runs. There have been many other games with the same situation in close games. It is EXTREMELY hard to beat a Big XII, BIG 10, or Valley team on the road with their conference umpires if you do not blow them out. They get the close calls so they dont get voted out by the coaches when it comes to tournament time and staying in the league. Not to mention never having the advantage of hitting last in the inning ever.

Now that the umpires I deal with are awful in a non-biased manner I sometimes forget how big of a deal road umpires can play in games. *Good point, because a lot of these umpires have some sort of agenda, or just subconsciously expect a team like us to lose, so we get screwed. *Hopefully a conference will help get us more home games and fix the problem.

JeffDaryl... You know all to well there are just a handful of umpires here that are somewhat consistant and that we dont get calls like the big conference teams at home.
