These are easily the games I'm most excited for every year. I hate the Gopher baseball program and its associated coaching staff to the depths of my soul and would love to see NDSU do what they almost did last year and sweep them.

According to the gophers website, the game has been postponed...

Possibly the snow on the field or the 20 degree temps. ;)

Doesn't the Gophers play in the Metrodome? The Bison played them last year in the Dome.

I believe this year they were scheduled for Siebert.

The gophers play in the dome when the Twins are not at home which they were.

They are only using the dome early in the season, all conference games are scheduled for Siebert plus all non conference games in april. Last year was an experiment where they used the dome for all games except when conflicts with the twins came up but fans and players didn't like it and wanted to be outside so they will be back at siebert whenever possible. The last three games have been postponed, one at Penn State, the NDSU game and todays game at Michigan. That's life as a northern baseball team.

Isn't Seibert a pit and should be torn down?

Lost to SDSU in Omaha and the second game was canceled due to cold

Seibert is not in good shape. The first base bleachers were condemnd two seasons ago and the rest of the seating areas are in tough shape. The playing surface is good and the overall view from the bleachers of the surrouding area of the outfield is not bad.... just need to upgrade though. Their administration needs to pull off the restrictions on baseball fundraising for a new stadium since they finally got the football stadium done.

Seibert does need to be rennovated, I hope that does get taken care of. The one good thing about the Metrodome is that it lets the Gophers get some home games early in the year when it is too cold to play up north. Last year, Minnesota only played 2 games at Seibert, this year, they are playing the whole Big Ten home schedule there.
