UNI 2-1 after 4. Looks like Aaron Jenkins from Champlin Park is dealing so far. Nasty low 3/4 lefty with a good breaking ball. He has struck out 8 through 4 innings but walked 5 including four in a row in the 3rd. Laber has scatered 8 hits so far. He needs to have a couple of quick innings so the bully doesnt get over worked early in the series.

Zim goes yard but Jenkins has 12 K's through 6. 2-2 heading into the bottom of the 6th.

Mossey grounds into inning ending double play with the bases loaded in the top of the 9th. Win-E-Mac HS (MN) alum Eric Hoffman scores the winning run with two out in the bottom of the 9th. UNI 3-2. Another tough one!

Jenkins is annoying to watch pitch, because all he does is continuously spike his curveball into the dirt and guys chase it. He has always been pretty wild, but apparently he was on today.

lost 10-1 today, Kole Z had a great game other than that... ahh ... yea... ok..

may 2nd at Minnesota rescheduled I WILL BE THERE!!

About time Zim is starting to break out. He is too good of a hitter to stay in that slump for so long. They need his bat to be consistant from here on out.

Too bad we dont have the healthy Hille right now. Hopefully the off season will be huge to his recovery. Judging by his outings he is no were close to where he was. He was nasty. 92-94 with stuff to go with it. He would win the opener of a Valley series on his own and UNI would then lose the following two games each week. Too bad!
