Former NDSU Track Star NCAA Woman of the Year

Kinsey Coles a former NDSU track star was named NCAA woman of the year. An NDSU student athlete has won this award 11 times in the past 15 years. What a dominating performance by the NDSU women.

Just so there isn't any confusion - Kinsey was name NCAA Woman of the Year for North Dakota... NDSU has had some stellar women compete for them and and a handful of them became finalists for the award (at least three of those finalists came from Amy Ruley's basketball team).

In fact, Kinsey was a finalist last year, but she was subsequently ruled ineligible because she graduated in the winter.

Kinsey rejoins a pretty great list: Theresa Lang, Jayne Even, Jill Theeler, Kasey Morlock....

BTW, UC Davis has had three national winners. Although how they pick them once you get to finalists is beyond me.
