Unfortunately, Blake was involved in a car accident last weekend and suffered some serious injuries. He was life flighted to the Minot hospital and then flown to Mayo shortly thereafter. He is scheduled for a 12 hour surgery today. A lot of injuries to the facial area (plates in his temple area) and pelvic area. There is a section on Carepages.com that his family updates on his condition. We pray that he has a full recovery and is able to continue his track career.

P.S. Wear your seat belts.

The last time I talked to Lars he didn't know? But it wasn't sounding very good. I'm going to go to that caring bridge web site and check it out.

It sounds like he is still in pain and he still has a ways to go, but he was able to run in a track meet.
