Volleyball gets recruit

Watched WDAY tonight and they reported that Kelly Lopez from D-G-F verballed to NDSU... they also said she was being recruited by Ohio State, Minnesota and Colorado State. Anyway, she looked pretty impressive on the WDAY highlight reel.

Colorado State and Ohio State are top 10 teams too. She got flown in and given offers by both schools.

Anybody have an opinion on how this years VB team would stand up against previous teams?

I have seen the volleyball team play twice this year. I think they would be smoked by the teams from previous years.

A young rebuilding year for sure. Pretty tough when you throw in a mostly D-I schedule.

I remember hearing at the beginning of the season that this year's team is VERY young, and it would be more of a rebuilding year. I believe Z has stated that five of the six starters are freshman or sophomores. With the new recruits, the Bison should be ready to rock when the playoffs are a possiblity.
