Mew Mexico State, a team earning votes in the latest poll, swept the Bison in Brookings, to stay undefeated on the year. Shelia Parrish was named to all tourney team.

The team now has a 6-8 record. One more win than ALL of last season!

6-8 does sound better than 5-33 or whatever last year's total was, doesn't it?

Even though the Aggies won handily, the Aggies coach did have nice things to say about the NDSU team:

Bison lost to a very good Northern Iowa team today in 3 sets (30-24, 30-21, 30-27). Record moves to 6-9 on the season.
