Bison women took on Athletes in Action, a team composed of former collegate and professional players and fell 82-77 on Halloween. * The Bison led by 9 at the 11:14 mark but over the 4 minutes they were outscored 20-1 led by former Wisconsin Badger All American Jess Stomski's 6 points. *NDSU made a run to get the 10 point lead down to 1 with 2 minutes left but didn't have enough to finish.

Good news for SU: Brandee Gibbs had 12 points on 5-8 shooting, 8 boards, and 3 steals in 22 minutes of action. *Hopefully this is not an anomaly and Gibbs is able to contribute some decent numbers every night. *The Bison were led by Amanda Giordot's 13 points while true frosh Lisa Bue had 11 points. *The other frosh who player were Brenda Slyt and Liz Preller. *Guessing Hooten and Sonstelie will red-shirt. *Leah Kalbo, Kayla Dahlen, and Katie Lorenz had 9 points apiece. * *Allison Hanson also did not play. *Bison committed 26 team fouls. *

AIA were led by former Sue player Mandy Arndston's 20 points. *Stonski had 19 points, *while former University of Maine star *Julie Veilleux had 14 points and another former Badger, Katie VOight had 13 points. *Former Sue All American Jenny Crouse had 6 boards and patrolled the middle getting 6 blocks.

AIA sounds like they had a great lineup.

It's the first game so its hard to figure this team. Coach Ruley may have used the game as a chance to see where people are at. She definitely went deep into the rotation which may have accounted for the high number of turnovers.

Reassuring to see Gibbs have a good game. Hopefully she can stay healthy and contribute. If she plays consistently..so much the better. If her and Klabo, Klabo and Hansen have to rotate frequently, that might not be too bad either.
