I'm listening to the MTU announcer complain about the non-calls on the bison end of the court and call the Bison the Bisons. It's kind of comical. "Bisons with the lead. Bisons with the basketball"

I'm listening to the MTSU feed too 'cause I can't get the WDAY feed to work for some reason. *He really is doing a lot of complaining about missed calls on the Bison(s) :).

Just said the officials need to look over the rule book, cause the Bison(s) travel everytime the touch the ball.

26-15, Bison....3:40 to go in the first half. Been a pretty constant 10-14 point spread for most of the game.

I am really getting sick of him calling us the Bisons. I wish WDAY would fix whatever's screwed up.

I haven't heard from them yet. They are more consistent for football broadcasts that is for sure. Maybe they have the second group of equipment at the BSA since Miller was in Idaho with the men last night.

Great confidence game for the Bison. A solid matchup with a very athletic team. Hopefully this attracts more folks to future games.

Was at the game, Crowd was into it throughout the game. Just a bit over 2000 so I think thats respectable showing of course would like to see more. Middle Tennessee State had one good player, the rest I thought played average at best. They were very rough or physical but the ladies held their own with them. It was apparent they were not a happy bunch and from the looks I don't think they expected to get handeled the way they were. I read some of the previous posts regarding the officiating. In my opinion there announcer was a big time homer and expected the refs to be to I guess. Hell there team could have been called for alot more fouls then they were. If anything I thought the refs overlooked many fouls they made as they had a couple of players that were throwing alot of elbows and also some player/ball control fouls that weren't called on them that easily could have been. All in all there announcer had nothing to complain about or maybe he's just too used to watching football. Nice win for Amy and the ladies.

Just calling them out. I don't care if you are grade school basketball player, you got to finish strong.

I agree.

But I think Myles stated it perfectly. *It's not like the kids are not trying. *They play with alot of heart.

They freshman. *They make mistakes. *They have never seen pressure like they've faced the last 2 games against a home opponent, AND their frenzied crowd.

Sad enough, they don't even see that kind of crowd frenzy at their own home games.

And it's sad.

See Yuz.

Listening to the post game interviews, anyone here Andre Smith?

He basically called out the fans, saying "We need our fans to come out and support us like these teams did the last week we played".

At first I was like, "dude you don't wanna go there right now".

But after thinking about it he's right. He called them out 3 times.

We have a Division 1 basketball team that's young, exciting, have played strong with some great opponents including UofM, and we can barely get 2000 fans to the games?

That's ridiculous.

Maybe we should go back to Division 2, where the fans can have their precious rivalry's against second rate team so they can come out and support them.

See Yuz.

Idaho state only had 2,100 for our game.
It's such a small court in Idaho. It looked like a high school gym.
The Bison haven't been real good since the
mid 90's in basketball. The next four years are
going to be great, though.

Please, we have had one home game and that game was on thanksgiving weekend. And that one crowd for the EMU game was in to the game and did a good job chearing the bison to a victory over EMU. Last year the schedule was horrible and that is why fans didn't come but this year the schedule is much better and I think attendance will be much stronger. Really I could care less if we played UND's worthless mens basketball team ever again, for the last few years I have been looking forward to the NDSU/SDSU game way more.

I was at the mens game against Hamline and I was at the womens game this weekend agains MTSU. One big difference between the football attendance and the basketball attendance is the comfort level and what I mean by that is sitting on a bleacher seat for four quaters. The BSA served its purpose for many years but its now painfully obvious the arena needs to be replaced with a newer facility that lends itself to a DI basketball atmosphere. The BSA just doesn't get it done. With that said I will still go to as many mens and womens home games that I can possibly make but comparing attendance figures with other universities or other sports when you have a big disparity in the arena they play in is like comparing apples and oranges. Not the players fault or the coaches fault, Fans have to step up for now and hope the BSA is replaced (my preference) or updated to be a more basketball friendly home court. Time will tell on the games that are played in the afternoon but I do think an evening game is a better time to play. As far as students go I didn't see alot of them there but the ones that were did a great job I thought on making noise.

I did stand up and cheer many times. Just stating that the bleachers are not very comfortable to sit for a Bball game.

I missed that but I didn't take it the wrong way anyway. I wasn't upset. I just think the BSA needs to be replaced but I know the $$ issue would make that a tough proposition as opposed to just renovating it. I only wish they would be a little more informative on what the status of any renovation project is. I hope the project isn't too far down the road, that facility really needs something. :-/

Great game by the Lady Bison... I thought Danni had a real nice first half, while Bue got it going in the 2nd half. It was nice to see a decent sized crowd turn out at the game. It got fairly loud in the BSA. Another great coaching job by Ruley and her staff. The zone worked to perfection early. Seemed like they didn't have much of a zone offense in yet or something. I think that might have been the best all around game Lorenz has had as a bison. There are a lot to choose from but she did a great job controlling the game. Can't wait to watch them play the rest of the year.
