Amy Ruley recently returned to her hometown to be inducted into Lowell High School's hall of fame.
She got to see family and friends, which is not easy to do because she's the head coach of the North Dakota State women's basketball team.
However, it looks like she'll get some more chances to see her family during the basketball season in the future.
North Dakota State is among three schools selected for site visits by the Mid-Continent Conference, which is seeking new members for the 2007-08 season after departures by Valparaiso and Chicago State.
"For me it's like coming home a little bit -- bringing North Dakota State back to my part of the country," Ruley said. . . . (read more)
