Jill Zaruba hit a personal milestone - in scoring 17 points she passed the 1,000 pt. mark - but Monticello lost to St. Michael-Albertville.

Jill had 23 points, 14 boards, and 3 blocks to help Monticello beat Dassel-Cokato, 60-35.

Through 4 games, Jill has per game averages of 17 points, 9 boards and 1 block.

The Girls player of the week is Jill Zaruba, from Monticello.

Jill had a great week! In the two games she averaged 25.5 ppg, 13rpg. She was 17/24 from the field, and 17/18 from the line. She scored 31 points to defeat state ranked Rogers. She also scored 26 to beat Dassel-Cokato. Jill has signed to be play at NDSU.
