ALL 3 of these girls are being contacted by NDSU... I WOULD HOPE!!!! I think we have other threads about these individually...... but dayum.. AMY.. get these girls to FARGO!! and SIGNED!!
.
Minnesota Basketball News has put out its all-state picks. Park Rapids’ Janessa Wolff was named girls Class 3A player of the year, while Fergus Falls’ Hannah Draxten and Crookston’s Kamille Wahlin were also named first-team in their respective classes

Janessa Wolff is on the radar of many major programs. If Hannah Draxton isn't yet, she will be soon as a junior. No idea about Kamille Wahlin.

Sambini...
realistically... I doubt we can get any of them...
I guess.. what I was hoping for..... was the AMY RULEY would be at 50% of their games last winter.. and this....
only 50 miles to fergus... 85 to park rapids... i mean... NDSU should be a slam dunk to these girls.... with the division 1 aspect.. and the need to get more fans to the game via marketing to these outlying areas...
so I hope at least 1 of these girls likes NDSU...

Wolff is making a name on the national scene.
Here's her page from hoopgurlz....take a peak as to who has their sites on her and (vis a vis):

And scroll down this link to get an ever so brief account of Wolff's performance with North tartan AAU in oregon.

Does anyone know of any recruits the Bison have offered schollys to? I was surprised SU wasn't on Janessa Wolff's list of teams that had offered. They might want to stay closer to home...

Those sites aren't always up-to-date. Janessa Wolff has been on campus recently (as have quite a few other possible recruits). It will be tough to get her with some of the big dogs offering her a scholarship.

Greenie is correct....although scout.com sites (full court press and hoopgurlz do the best of the best in keeping in touch with the women's collegiate recruiting game, no one really has a handle on who is really interested in where.

Park Rapids’ Janessa Wolff -- Big Time Division 1
Crookston’s Kamille Wahlin -- Iowa State, Minnesota, Iowa,NDSU
Fergus Falls’ Hannah Draxten -- Big Ten Schools, Iowa State, NDSU
Kamille said "NDSU talked to me a lot, but I'm down to 4 schools"
Hannah would be the BEST shot at playing at NDSU in my opinion.
Janessa & Kamille will probably be BIG TIME.

Maybe they will have to leave the state for a year and transfer back to Fargo...that seems to work for us * *:D

Wolff has committed to Penn St over the U of M.

Wacker, you may have a point on this one. Guess the coach at Penn State has a real ego problem. Maybe that's why the Walseth girl decided to come to NDSU when her sister went to Penn State.
