Where is the Bison Zone link for listening to the game? I have the webcast on, no Thunder Radio broadcast with it though. Anyone else having luck listening to WDAY online?

Watching it on AllAccess. NDSU looks really good, quicker than UM. Up 33-25 at the half. :)

What a great win for the women. Amy Ruley has got this thing turned around. They looked very good tonight and controlled the whole game against the Big Ten Minnesota Gophers. Yeah Baby!

Congrats on the win. I tried to watch the game on Gobison.com, but I couldn't get more than an occasional couple seconds of video interspersed between LONG stretches of nothing.

Good crowd for a Christmas break game 3,543 in attendence tonight. Great win and great crowd.

I had good clear video for the whole game. I am using internet explorer 7.0 and windows media player 11.0. I am also on AT&T Yahoo! DSL Pro (2.5 Mbps). I always have great luck with my Go Bison All Access video feeds.

Remember though that MINN is a team that has 6 freshman in the eight man rotation and will really struggle this year, especially on the road. Still a nice win for the Bison but keep it in perspective, and I really wish Bison fans, men and women, would stop crying about the officials in every single game thread.

It is still a Big Ten team and a win over the Gophers. It doesn't matter that they are young, NDSU is also in transition and is learning how to play division I basketball. That was a dominating performance by the ladies tonight. It should help Amy with recruiting next year too. NDSU is going into the Mid Con next year they beat the big team in the region and look like they should have a winning record this year. Things are looking better for the program and it seems they are getting it now. I never mention the officials when I post. There were alot of foul shots tonight and some of the fouls were ticky tacky but they were that way for both teams.

It sure helps to have the point guards back. Good game for the ladies, except for the start of the second half when the gophers went on the run to pull within two.

A great win for the athletes. So much for the program is in the toilet and Amy is over the hill. People forget that 2 years ago the team went 26-1. Last year Girodat never got healthy and the Blue Chip point guard went home with personal problems and we were left WITHOUT a point guard and had to play the point by committee. Now that Girodat and the rookie, Hodgson are healthy things will be better. Inger still has a ways to go but we have to realize that she is a true freshman and will improve. Amanda was superb last night. She really shows the leadership and energy that has been missing. The Bison flat out hussled the Gophers last night. Lead by 7 and never looked back. Remember we have Colorado State transfers Samuelson and Walseth and Popovich sitting out and have 3 outstanding recruits for next year. I'm encouraged when I think about next years team. Back to the point guard. Start your year with your third string quarterback. How do you think your year would be?

As mentioned, I agree that the point guard play was key. But I also thought Lisa Bue's tenacity was admirable. Shots weren't falling for her early, but she kept working hard all night. In the end, I think she had 11 points in the final 7 minutes, including a big 3. Also had some great drives to the hoop. I thought she willed her way to a 20+ point night and the Bison to a victory.

I wonder what the lady gopher fans will think when the Jacks rip them a new one by 25 points in a couple of weeks. The way the ladies at SDSU are playing, I'll put money on it.

I do not want to discredit the bison win however, our stock is definitely rising. Hopefully we will be playing our best ball when we meet up with the Jacks.

Big question will be how the Gophers respond to this loss, which in their eyes, probably is pretty devastating. This is Gopher team that beat number 25 Nebraska at DeVaney so they have had moments of greatness. But they've also looked bad (and the Bison had something to do with that). That will be an interesting matchup. Also curious to see how we do against Middle Tennessee State, a team that gave both Maryland and Georgia fits before falling and which handled the Gophers but which lost in Murpheesboro to South Dakota State.

I was on vacation when this game happened and unable to listen to the game much less attend it (rats!)

Great job by the team - I'm very happy for them and hope they can build on this success.
