A North Dakota State University alumnus has bequeathed his estate - valued at more than $1.3 million - to benefit the NDSU college of pharmacy in honor of his late daughter.
Ordean Berg, a 1941 NDSU graduate and former director of the Soil Conservation Service in southeastern North Dakota, died Jan. 23 at age 88.
He left his estate to the NDSU Development Foundation to establish the Ordean K. Berg Endowment Fund.
