Senate Bill reaches no equity compromise

So much for the push for more equity funding. No compromise was reached for more equity funding for NDSU, Bismarck State College and Lake Region State College in Devils Lake. It is still possible to reject the bill, but I think that is unlikely.

And I still don't agree with University of Mary recieving the $150,00.

Interrestingly enough, the 1/2 million dollar NDSU athletic audit was waived in an agreement to elliminate UND medical audit.




You know, I was having a good day untill I read this. >:(
It absolutely blows my mind that these so called legislators have to stoop to this level of petty bickering.

I've got a dinner tomorrow night where Rick Berg and I've yet to decide if I want to bring this up.

I really think that in two years NDSU, BSC, and LRSC students should organize and camp out on the capitol lawn in bismarck for a couple of days. That would scare the hell out of a lot of people.

Right now I don't think there are enough people that care. Hell, there are alot of people that are still uninformed about this issue.
