I thought it'd be cool to find out what sort of really cool / unique things you keep around the house that are related to Bison Athletics.

I've got quite a few unique items, but the coolest is a framed picture from 1988 of Satter, Simdorn and Lloyd all holding up the "1" sign. It's captioned "1988 North Dakota State 1000 yard rushers" and is signed by all 3 players. Just the fact that 3 guys rushed for 1000 yards in a season is amazing.

What do I wish I had? I've always wanted one of the hankies they gave away at the last game versus Morningside at Dacotah field.

Speaking of Dacotah Field, anyone seen it recently? Southside of the field is completely cleared out, grass is being planted...looks like the northside stands might have a new coat of paint, too...

I have NDSU Coffee table. It is pine with the new Bison logo on top covered by polyurethene (bar top). I am young, so nothing from the good old days.

They removed the old restrooms/concession stands last year, now just getting around to making the area look a little better. Dont think that there are any plans to use the field.

Two large replicas of the old "Snortie" image facing each other painted on a wall in my basement

An "NDSU Wrestling NCC Champions: 4 in a Row! 1982- 83-84-85" cap

A 1986 Division II National Champs cap that lists the championship years of 1983 and 1985, as well as the 1981 and 1984 finalist teams

A game program from the November 1, 1986 game against Nebraska, Omaha which shows Gary Barta holding for a Ken Kubisz kick on the cover

The t- shirt sold at the Dome opener against Pittsburg State in September of 1993

The pennant they gave away at the last game at Dacotah Field against Morningside on November 7, 1992
On the pennant, it says "Dacotah Field- Home of the Bison 1950- 1992"

Most prized piece: Ticket stub from the 1985 playoff game in Vermillion. Still remember looking through binoculars when Bentrim sent "The Pitch" to Molstre, which is arguably the greatest play in Bison history

My Chub's mug. It is related to Bison Athletics because we would often relish the great Bison teams while drinking cheap beer on Monday night.

I have a framed copy of the first division I-AA picture (what it cost for the photo and the framing makes it my most expensive as well), the NDSU throw blanket, an NDSU miniature mail car piggy bank, an NDSU set of coasters, the Ed Kolpack book, my diploma and NDSU's nationwide reputation as a great university.

First D1AA game picture (like kchats said it is the most expensive - for me close to a $150 investment) with a nice black frame, yellow matting and extra line of black matting between the poster and the yellow outside matte. Also have one of the Stop n Go bison bobble heads, NDSU stadium blanket, the NDAC book, and a Bob Babich autographed NDSU mini football. In addition, I have a smattering of game programs, media guides, newspaper clippings, t-shirts, sweatshirts, baseball caps, coffee mugs, pens, etc.
Two things I want the most but don't have is one of the teammakers jackets and a football jersey.

I forgot I also have the embroidered NDSU jacket with then Bison on the back and the left front. It draws alot of attention when I wear it around southwest Missouri. I actually visited for quite a while at my health club with a graduate of Moorhead State University.

Speaking of Bison Memorabilia!!! Does anyone know where or how I can get a section of the now deceased south stands. I am looking for about a 10' x 4 row section.

I have an old but well-built 18' x 40' grainery on the place we are buying and I would like to turn it into Bison Central (Carrington), a kind of shrine, with old stands, some astroturf, a big screen TV with satellite feed, a bar and cigars.

Any help would be appreciated.

BTW, if you want a studly poster of a bison, check it out on ebay, Robert Bateman Chief. It is a picture of an awesome looking bison that would go well in any den.

Sorry to burst your dream, Cardinal, but the old south stands from Dacotah Field were moved and rebuilt at the track and soccer complex on campus.

Oh crap, thanks for the info, roadwarrior. I guess I will have to resort to $5 sofa's from garage sales.

I think I remember seeing the artificial turf still on the field too. Oh well, patience, grasshopper.

You're dating yourself with "patience grasshopper". I wonder how many posters will know what show that's from. I still have my Team Makers jacket from 1983.

I got a pair of 1969 Bison National Championship mugs, they are real cool. I painted and striped my own bison helmet which i have hanging on the wall. The BattleWagon and trailer of course. Items I wished I still had were 1983 and 1985 National Championship T-Shirts, wore the things out in no time wearing them all the time, wish I would have bought 2 and saved a pair. I still have alot of the gameday programs from the 80's which are fun to look at.

I have most gameday programs since the FFD opened with the next days newspaper writeups from the Forum. *Many have the ticket stubs too. *They are all in boxes. *Someday maybe Ill catalog them so they can be easily referenced.

I have a number of old AC class annuals dating back to 1912. *Very interesting.

I have a poster from the 2003 Bison/Sioux Chicago satellite viewing that says "The NDSU Alumni Association Welcomes You" along with the Bison logo. I have it hanging in my graduate student office at the University of Illinois...since NDSU has a better football team than UI.
